Who are Idle FC?
Idle Football Club, founded as Idle Juniors in 1997 by two local sides coming together with the goal of bringing football to the community. That goals still remains today.
In 2015, Idle FC was formed in partnership with Idle Juniors as its adult section, fast forward 5 years and the two became one, Idle FC.
Over the years the club has stayed modest in its size but has remained committed to offering football to anyone who wants to play the beautiful game and has strived to develop those who volunteer their services to support the growth of grassroots football in the local community.
For the 2021/22 season the club is currently running 7 teams across all age groups:
U10, U12, U14 Lions & Panthers, U16 within the junior section who all play within the local Craven Are Wharfe Junior League. The further two teams are within the adult section, first and second teams, who both play in the Yorkshire Amateur Football League.

The club is always looking to invite new players and volunteers to the club and all new volunteer coaches will have their initial coaching badges cost covered by the club to fully support them on their first steps within the coaching pathway with Idle FC. All our coaches are 1st aid trained and have background checks completed.
